Ponniyin Selvan is a film that was much awaited by one and all as it was directed by Mani Ratnam, the master craftsmen. Made in two parts, the first part released yesterday.
The film opened to solid reviews in Tamil but in Telugu the critics felt it was dull and slow. However the film has made a decent start in a few areas.
As per the update, the film has made 2.3 crores net in Nizam on day one. The film will be tested big time from today onwards as the word of mouth is dull. We need to see how much the film will make in the days to come.
