It is known that the makers of Prabhas’s Adipurush had announced that the film will be released in theaters worldwide on the 12th of January, 2023.
The latest we hear is that Adipurush won’t be the only film releasing next Sankranthi holiday season. It will face stiff competition from Vijay’s Varasudu which is also announced for Sankranthi release.
In all likelihood, even Varasudu will be released on the same day as Adipurush – 12th January. The unit believes this is the right release date to make the most of the Sankranthi holiday season. The makers are yet to officially announce the same though. So there’s still some uncertainty.
