Global Star Ram Charan briefly paused the shooting of his upcoming film Peddi after the unfortunate passing of Allu Arjun’s grandmother Allu Kanakaratnam yesterday. The actor immediately flew to Hyderabad to offer his condolences to the Allu family before returning to Mysore to resume filming.
Earlier today, Ram Charan met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Mysore. The star hero warmly welcomed the CM and felicitated him, and pictures from their interaction have since gone viral on social media.
On the production side, reports suggest that the Peddi team will head back to Hyderabad to begin a fresh schedule from September 5, 2025.
The rural sports drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, features Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and others. Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, the film has music composed by Oscar winner A. R. Rahman.
