Superstar Rajinikanth’s mass entertainer, Petta is gearing up for a Sankranthi release. Meanwhile, the latest update is that the makers will be releasing the film simultaneously in Telugu along with Tamil on the 10th of January.
Since Petta is releasing amid a huge competition from NTR Kathanayakudu, VVR and F2, distributor Ashok Vallabhaneni, who acquired the film’s Telugu rights is trying hard to grab a decent number of theaters all over AP and Telangana.
Karthik Subbaraj has directed Petta and Sun Pictures banner bankrolled it.
