Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan returned to Hyderabad from Singapore with his wife Anna Lezhneva and son Mark Shankar Pawanovich, after a fire accident at Mark’s school in Singapore. The eight-year-old boy was injured in the incident but has now recovered, bringing great relief to the family.
After returning, Pawan Kalyan took to social media to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PMO, and the Indian High Commission in Singapore for their quick and supportive response during the difficult time.
In his post, Pawan Kalyan said he was in the Uttarandhra tribal region attending the ‘Adavi Thalli Baata’ programme when he received the news about the fire. He thanked the Prime Minister for stepping in to help not only his son but also the other children affected. He praised the prompt coordination between Indian and Singaporean authorities, which provided his family with comfort and strength during the crisis.
He also highlighted the government’s efforts to improve the lives of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). He shared that under schemes like PM JANMAN, PMGSY, and MGNREGS, about 1,069 km of roads will be built with an investment of Rs. 1,005 crore, connecting 601 tribal habitations. This will improve transport, boost tourism, provide faster medical help, and end the struggle of people being carried in “dolis” due to a lack of roads.
Pawan Kalyan ended his post by once again expressing his sincere thanks to PM Modi for his support during a very emotional time.
I extend my deepest gratitude to you, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, and @PMOIndia for the prompt and supportive response during the tragic fire incident at my son Mark Shankar’s summer camp in Singapore. The assistance provided through the Singapore authorities,…
