Sea fantasy horror adventure Kingston, starring GV Prakash Kumar and Divyabharathi, was released in theaters in Tamil and Telugu on March 7, 2025. The film failed to make a significant impact at the box office, and after a month, it is now set for its OTT debut.
ZEE5 announced that the movie will have its OTT and TV premieres today. While many expected the film to release at 12 AM, the platform later clarified that the digital premiere will take place at 12 PM today in both Tamil and Telugu. The satellite premiere is also scheduled for the same time. This follows a similar pattern previously used by ZEE5 for Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.
Chetan, Azhagam Perumaal, Elango Kumaravel, Sabumon Abdusamad, Antony, Arunachaleswaran, Rajesh Balachandiran, and others played supporting roles. The film was produced by GV Prakash Kumar and Umesh K R Bansal. It remains to be seen how the OTT and TV audiences will receive it.
