The deadly terrorist attack in Kashmir’s tourist spot, Pahalgam, on April 22 had left 27 tourists dead and also destroyed the tourism in the picturesque valley. Several film shootings that were scheduled to be held in Kashmir were cancelled in fear of cross-border terrorism.
However, Bollywood star Bobby Deol is set to become the first Bollywood star to return to the Kashmir valleys following the terror attack. The actor reportedly encouraged his film’s crew to continue with the plan to shoot in Kashmir, as the script demands a scenic, mountainous backdrop. Needless to say, Bobby Deol’s bravery will not only instill confidence in his film’s team but also in the entire Indian film industry, and more crews will defy fears and land in Kashmir for movie shoots.
Bobby Deol has been on a roll ever since he made a striking comeback in Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. He went on to play the main antagonist in Aashram, Kanguva, and Daaku Maharaj. The actor will soon be seen in a negative role in Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated pan-India historic action drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
