Six months ago, Aadi Pinishetty came up with the horror thriller Sabdham. Directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam, the film received mixed reviews and failed to leave a strong impact at the box office. The film marked the second collaboration between the actor and director after the blockbuster Eeram (Vaishali in Telugu).
Though it’s been a long time since the film hit the big screens, it is yet to arrive on OTT. Movie buffs are expressing their disappointment over the delay in the digital release. As of now, there is no clarity on when the movie will arrive in the OTT space. Long ago, it was reported that Sabdham would have its digital premiere on Prime Video on March 28, 2025.
However, that didn’t happen, and the absence of updates is further annoying the cinephiles. Siva and S. Banupriya Siva jointly produced Sabdham under 7G Films and AAlpha Frames. We need to see whether or not the makers will provide any clarity. Also, the digital platform’s silence is adding to the growing frustration.
Sabdham revolves around paranormal investigator Ruben, who investigates a series of deaths in a medical college. Lakshmi Menon played the female lead, and SS Thaman composed the tunes. Simran, Laila, Arthi Ashwin, M.S. Bhaskar, and Redin Kingsley played supporting roles.
