Leading OTT platform Amazon Prime Video has announced a new web film called Ae Watan Mere Watan, a patriotic film set in 1942. Bollywood beauty Sara Ali Khan will be seen as a fearless freedom fighter in this film.
The streaming platform releases an intriguing glimpse of the web movie in which Sara looks in a never before avatar. The makers have also announced that the film, which is inspired by true events, is in its shooting phase.
Directed by Kannan Iyer, Ae Watan Mere Watan’s story is jointly written by Darab Farooqui and Kannan Iyer. Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta produced this flick under Dharma Entertainment banner. The release date will be announced in the near future.
