The third week of September 2025 is packed with new movies and series. Here’s a look at what’s coming to your favourite OTT platforms, so you can enjoy them right from your couch.
Thanu Radhe Nenu Madhu:
ETV Win’s Katha Sudha series brings a new Telugu short film, Thanu Radhe Nenu Madhu, on September 14, 2025. Lakshmi Durga Kathi stars in this movie, directed by RP Patnaik.
Elio:
Disney-Pixar’s sci-fi animated film Elio arrives on Jio Hotstar on September 17, 2025. The Telugu version, along with other Indian languages, will also be available.
The Bads of Bollywood:
Aryan Khan makes his directorial debut with this action-packed comedy drama. It features big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Rajamouli, Aamir Khan, Bobby Deol, Lakshya, and Raghav Juyal. Netflix will premiere it on September 18, 2025. A Telugu version might not be released.
Sinners:
The English horror hit Sinners, directed by and starring Ryan Coogler, made around $360 million globally. Jio Hotstar will stream it for free from September 18, 2025. No Telugu version is planned.
The Trial Season 2:
The second season of the Hindi legal drama The Trial is here. Kajol returns as Noyonika Sengupta, with more courtroom drama. Streaming starts on Jio Hotstar from September 19, 2025, and a Telugu version may be available.
Indra:
This Tamil thriller, directed by Sabarish Nanda, stars Vasanth Ravi and Mehreen Pirzada. It hits Sun NXT on September 19, 2025. The Telugu version hasn’t been announced yet.
House Mates:
Directed by Raja Vel, the Tamil horror-comedy House Mates stars Darshan, Kaali Venkat, and others. ZEE5 will release it on September 19, 2025. There’s no Telugu version yet.
Police Police:
This Tamil police procedural features Mirchi Senthil, Jayaseelan Thangavel, and Shabana. It streams on Jio Hotstar from September 19, 2025. A Telugu-dubbed version may come at the same time.
Sshhh Season 2:
The Tamil anthology series Sshhh returns for Season 2 on Aha in Tamil and Telugu from September 19, 2025. The main cast includes Aishwarya Dutta, Vedhika C Kumar, and Premgi Amaran. This is a completely A-rated show.
28 Years Later:
Danny Boyle’s zombie horror 28 Years Later, starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams, and Ralph Fiennes, was a box-office hit. It streams on Netflix from September 19, 2025, in English only.
