Praveen Kandregula, renowned for his debut film Cinema Bandi, is gearing up for the release of his second project, Paradha. The film is backed by the acclaimed director duo Raj and DK. Anupama Parameswaran, Malayalam actress Darshana Rajendran, and Sangitha are playing the lead roles.
The promotional material released so far has received a good response. The makers are set to reveal the release date tomorrow, along with the first single. Another update is that the film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video.
This is definitely a notable achievement, as closing OTT deals has become more challenging recently. Paradha is an attempt to depict old customs, traditions, and superstitions, including the chilling practice of Sati. The movie marks the debut of Ananda Media, with production by Vijay Donkada, alongside Sreenivasulu PV and Sridhar Makkuva. Gopi Sundar is the music composer.
