Saare Jahan Se Accha is the latest Hindi web series on Netflix, which will live today at 12:30 PM. This spy thriller stars Pratik Gandhi and is directed by Sumit Purohit. Its promotional material has generated curiosity with glimpses of tense exchanges and shadowy missions.
Set in the 1970s, the story is all about an operation to stop a neighbouring country’s nuclear plans. It takes cues from the 1971 Indo-Pak War and the early years of India’s R&AW, but the plot is fictional, mixing historical touches with the drama of espionage. A Telugu version is expected, though Netflix has not confirmed it yet.
The cast includes Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor, and Anup Soni. The series is created by Gaurav Shukla, produced by Bombay Fables, with Bhavesh Mandalia as creative producer.
