When Bollywood megastar Salman Khan’s Sikandar was released and failed at the box office, many blamed the actor for his choice of scripts. However, Salman said he didn’t regret doing the film and added that it had a good story.
This happened during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, which he is hosting. Apart from that, Salman hit back at director AR Murugadoss, who had complained about the actor’s punctuality.
Salman said that the director claimed he used to arrive on set after 9 PM, even though his ribs were broken. He further took a sarcastic jibe, pointing out that the director’s other film was recently released, where the actor reportedly arrived by 6 AM. His intention was to mock the director’s inability to produce a hit despite Sivakarthikeyan being punctual, clarifying that the issues were more about execution.
Though Salman made a valid point, Sivakarthikeyan’s fans didn’t appreciate their hero being dragged into the conversation, which sparked some negativity toward the megastar on social media.
On the professional front, Salman is busy filming Battle of Galwan, a war drama directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, in which Salman portrays Colonel B. Santosh Babu, a real-life hero who played a significant role in the conflict.
