28 Years Later is a post-apocalyptic coming-of-age horror film directed by Danny Boyle. It is the third installment in the 28 Days Later film franchise, following 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. The horror film grabbed the eyeballs with its taut narrative and bold filmmaking choices. The film opened to positive reviews and grossed $151 million globally against its budget of $60 million.
Following its successful theatrical run, 28 Years Later arrived on Amazon Prime Video, ZEE5, Book My Show Stream, and Apple TV, but only in rental mode. The latest update is that the film is now up for streaming on Netflix, and the good news is that the digital platform’s subscribers need not pay any additional amount to watch it.
Since India is a price-sensitive market, 28 Years Later is expected to gain solid traction on Netflix. The film also stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams, and Ralph Fiennes in crucial roles. Sony Pictures distributed this flick, while it was jointly produced by Columbia Pictures, Decibel Films, and DNA Films.
