Pawan Kalyan’s OG was expected to emerge as the all-time biggest premiere grosser in America among Telugu films, but according to the latest developments, the records are completely out of reach. The content is still being readied and hasn’t been dispatched to the USA.
Though OG broke records through pre-sales, the final premiere numbers will take a severe hit. Some shows are likely to be cancelled across the USA and Canada due to the content delay. Some theatre chains that operate through hard drives require content well in advance. AMC, for instance, hasn’t opened the bookings yet.
The U.S. distributor confirmed that the second-half content delivery is still pending and has provided a delivery window. Fans are highly disappointed, with the team taking things to the 11th hour, though they hope the hurdles will be overcome if Sujeeth delivers.
