Actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s period war action drama Swayambhu is back in the spotlight, with the makers officially announcing the release date today. The film comes after Nikhil’s nationwide recognition with Karthikeya 2, adding curiosity about his next move.
The project marks the directorial debut of Bharat Krishnamachari and is set for a grand theatrical release on February 13, 2026, in eight languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Chinese, Spanish and Arabic.
The shoot has been wrapped, and a short video titled Rise of Swayambhu was released along with the date announcement, offering a brief look at the scale. Promotional activities will begin soon.
Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh play the female leads. The film is produced on a large scale by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, with Tagore Madhu presenting.
KK Senthil Kumar handles cinematography. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur, and production design is led by M Prabhaharan and Raveendra, aiming to deliver an intense and visually rich theatrical experience.
