Ever since the project was announced, there has been a lot of buzz around Tamil star actor-director duo Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Indian’s sequel. Leading production house Lyca Productions will be bankrolling this project, which will be going on floors from January 18.
Until recently, there were reports that young Tamil star Simbu will be playing Kamal’s grandson in Indian 2. However, the latest speculation is that it’s not Simbu but actor-filmmaker Siddharth who will be playing Senapathy Thatha’s grandson in the movie. An official announcement is awaited regarding this news.
Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady in Indian 2. Anirudh Ravichander will score the soundtrack. The film will be released in Telugu as Bharatheeyudu 2.
