Tamil superstar Vijay’s upcoming film, Mersal, is releasing on October 18 as a Diwali treat for fans. Expectations around the film are humongous. The film’s teaser has set a new world record by amassing a whopping 9,75,000 plus likes from 27 million views.
But here’s an interesting revelation, made by the film’s director Atlee himself. Atlee recently said that there will not be any theatrical trailer release for Mersal. “The release is just a week away and fans can’t wait to watch their Thalapathy on screen,” Atlee said.
Meanwhile, the makers unveiled a couple of new promos during Baahubali’s world premiere on Sunday. Mersal is simultaneously releasing in Telugu as Adirindhi.
