Recently, Siddu Jonnalagadda came up with the triangular love story ‘Telusu Kada.’ The movie marks the directorial debut of famous stylist Neerraja Kona. Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty played the female leads. Unfortunately, the film didn’t click at the box office. In a recent interview, Neerraja Kona shared her thoughts about why the movie didn’t perform well in theatres.

“Hero’s character features grey shades. If he had changed in the climax, the film would have clicked, because that’s what our audiences expect. Hero remained the same till the end, and they were unable to accept it. Maybe this Telusu Kada is too advanced or too new for them to accept. It might have worked if it had been released a few years later,” said Neerraja Kona.

Neerraja Kona’s comments are drawing mixed reactions on the internet. The film also features Harsha Chemudu, Ravi Mariya, and others in key roles. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, Telusu Kada’s music is composed by Thaman. The movie is now streaming on Netflix.
