Sundeep Kishan is gearing up to entertain audiences with Mazaka, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. The film is slated for a grand release on Maha Shivaratri day, i.e., February 26. The teaser highlighted the humorous father-son dynamic, promising a full-on fun entertainer.
According to trade reports, Mazaka must collect a distributor share of Rs. 9 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to be in the safe zone. The worldwide box office target is Rs. 11 crores for this Sundeep Kishan starrer. If the reports and word of mouth are positive, then this breakeven mark is very much achievable due to the long weekend advantage.
The opening day numbers will depend on the theatrical trailer, which will come out today. It’s common for the protagonist to have a female lead, but what makes Mazaka more exciting is that the hero’s father also has a love interest. Ritu Varma and Manmadhudu fame Anshu play the leading ladies.
Rao Ramesh plays Sundeep Kishan’s father. Mazaka is bankrolled jointly by AK Entertainment, Hasya Movies, and Zee Studios, with Razesh Danda and Umesh KR Bansal as producers. Leon James is the music composer. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
