Mollywood Megastar Mammootty was last seen in the action drama Turbo. There was solid hype before its release, but the film received mixed reviews from critics. Despite not-so-encouraging reviews, the commercial entertainer raked in Rs. 70 crores gross in its total run. Vysakh, who previously directed hit films like Pulimurugan and Pokkiri Raja, is the director of Turbo.
Initially it was announced that Turbo would be available for streaming from August 9th. However, the movie has already made its digital debut. This Mammootty starrer is now streaming on Sony LIV platform in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi languages.
The early OTT release came as a surprise to fans. Critically acclaimed actor Raj B Shetty played the antagonist. Popular Telugu comedian Sunil played a vital role. Anjana Jayaprakash, Sabareesh Varma, Dileesh Pothan, and Bindu Panicker are also part of this flick. Mammootty produced Turbo under his home banner, Mammootty Kampany.
