Malayalam Megastar Mammootty’s recent Malayalam-Tamil bilingual Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam is a disappointment in theatres. Not just this film, but the legendary actor has had a flurry of flops lately, which worried his fans.
Today the actor took to his social profiles and announced the title of his next film as, Kannur Squad. Directed by Roby Varghese Raj, the film is produced under the banner Mammotty Kampany. The first look poster was also released by the actor.
Rony David Raj and Muhammed Shafi are penning the screenplay and dialogues. Shusin Shyam will score the music. Besides this film, Mammootty plays a pivotal role in Akhil Akkineni’s Agent, which releases in April 2023.
