Kalpana, the popular Malayalam actress and television star passed away yesterday. She had come down to Hyderabad for a private event and collapsed at the hotel where she was residing in.
The hotel authorities immediately took her to Apollo hospital but she was declared dead by the doctors. The details of her death are still unknown.
Kalpana is a household name in Malayalam television industry but even before that she acted in over 300 movies including Tamil and Telugu. She is the sister of popular actress Urvasi.
