Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru is a memorable film that recently swept the National Film Awards. Currently, Akshay Kumar is starring in the Hindi remake of this film that is directed by Sudha Kongara herself.
Rumors were floating around that the film might release directly on the OTT skipping the theatrical release. The makers Abudantia Entertainments slammed the rumors and clarified that the film is under production and lining up for a big screen release.
Suriya will be making a short cameo in this Hindi remake and he is co-producing the film under his 2D Entertainments banner. Radhika Madhan will be reprising the role of Aparna Balamurali. GV Prakash will compose the music.
