Mahavatar Narsimha, the first mythological animated feature film from the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe (MCU), hit theatres on July 25, 2025, in multiple Indian languages, including Telugu, and is receiving an excellent response.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar, the Telugu version released through Geetha Arts has struck a chord with audiences. According to the production house, day two collections in Telugu are more than 2.5 times higher than day one, showing strong momentum and positive word of mouth.
While the official numbers haven’t been revealed, the bookings are solid, and the collections are expected to rise further. With Sunday footfalls likely to increase, Mahavatar Narsimha is performing better than the other releases in the Telugu states.
The film is produced by Hombale Films in collaboration with Kleem Productions, with music composed by Sam CS, Abey Terrance, and Sachin Lal. Stay tuned for more updates.
