Released around three weeks ago, the blockbuster mythological magnus opus, Mahavatar Narasimha, scripted history by becoming the highest-grossing animation film in Indian cinema history. The film has already amassed over Rs 250 crore at the global box office despite the tough competition from Coolie, War 2, and Su From So.
As per the latest trade updates, Mahavatar Narasimha has entered the Rs 150 crore club in Hindi alone. The film is now eyeing the Rs 200 crore milestone, and trade analysts are confident about Mahavatar Narasimha reaching the special milestone.
Mahavatar Narasimha is directed by debutant Ashwin Kumar and produced under the Kleem Productions banner. KGF and Salaaar producer Vijay Kiragandur has presented the film under his Hombale Films banner. Mahavatar Narasimha is the first installment in the animated seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.
