Prince Mahesh Babu’s ‘Athadu’ is universally acknowledged as an extremely fine piece of work. It is without a doubt, one of Mahesh Babu’s and Trivikram’s best movies. The satellite rights of this movie were picked up by MAA for a period of 6 years, when the movie released. That term expired last month.
We have now come to know that MAA has paid approximately 3.5 Crores to renew the satellite rights for an additional six years. This is a whopping sum for a renewal and this shows how popular that movie is even to this day.
‘Athadu’ had Mahesh Babu in the lead role along with Trisha. Trivikram directed this movie and Murali Mohan was the producer.
