Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up to entertain the audiences with his upcoming flick Amaran. The movie is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan and stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead. The theatrical trailer was launched yesterday and it is getting a phenomenal response from all corners.

This inspiring saga has now wrapped up the censor formalities. The CBFC issued a U/A certificate to this patriotic action drama. The approved runtime is 169 minutes (2 hours and 49 minutes). The duration is lengthy and the screenplay must be highly gripping to engage the audience. Amaran is written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy of Rangoon fame.

Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan, in association with R. Mahendran and Sony Pictures International Productions, produced this flick. GV Prakash Kumar composed the tunes. The majority of the film was shot in Kashmir. Given the good hype and Diwali festival advantage, Amaran is expected to open well at the box office.
