Horror thriller Kishkindhapuri, spearheaded by Bellamkonda Sreenivas, has emerged as a clean hit at the box office. After many years, Sreenivas has finally tasted commercial success with this Koushik Pellagapati directorial. Interestingly, his last hit Rakshashudu also featured Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady.
With rejuvenated energy, the Kishkindhapuri team has now shifted focus to post-release promotions. A grand success meet will be held tomorrow in Hyderabad, and reportedly, Sai Durga Tej (Sai Dharam Tej) has been invited as the chief guest. The team understood that good content alone isn’t enough in this social media era and that there needs to be a solid push from the cast and crew to help the movie reach a wider audience.
The success meet is expected to amplify the film’s reach and propel the horror film to even greater success. If a few more such events are planned, Kishkindhapuri could post huge numbers over the weekend.
Netizens also feel the team should conduct a theatre tour across the Telugu states, though that depends on the actors’ availability. Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens produced the film, and Chaitan Bharadwaj composed the music.
