Amidst a packed release window, Vijay Deverakonda’s much-hyped Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, held its ground. With several big-budget films around, a few expected that Kingdom’s impact would fizzle out, especially with the animated film Mahavatar Narsimha emerging as a sleeper hit.

But thanks to the extraordinary opening day with around Rs. 39 crore gross and good reports, Kingdom continues to post promising numbers. The stylish execution, emotional depth, and Vijay’s screen presence made a strong impact across demographics.

Interestingly, Kingdom didn’t just survive, it thrived. The film produced by Naga Vamsi has reportedly entered the safe zone in the Telugu states and has also earned profits in Tamil and Malayalam markets. Kingdom’s theatrical run once again proves that star power can still bring audiences to theatres.
