Vijay Deverakonda’s much-hyped action drama Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, is now running in theatres. Despite releasing on a non-holiday Thursday, the movie registered the biggest-ever opening for Vijay Deverakonda. It also received decent reviews from critics.
Following a fantastic start, Kingdom maintained a good hold on day two, which was also a working day. According to the makers, the film collected a distributor share of Rs. 4.11 crore on Friday in the Telugu states, with Nizam emerging as the top contributor.

The film is expected to post solid numbers over the weekend in both domestic and overseas markets. Bhagyashri Borse played the female lead, while Satyadev appeared in a key role. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film features music by Anirudh.
