National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh made her big Bollywood debut with the recently released action drama Baby John. Even though the Varun Dhawan-starrer failed to set the cash registers ringing, Keerthy has managed to strike a chord with the Hindi audience with her glamor and performance.
And here’s an interesting revelation made by Keerthy herself. In a latest interview, Keerthy revealed that it was her Mahanati co-star Samantha who recommended her name for the lead role in Baby John. Keerthy went on to reveal that she was apprehensive to play the character that was originally portrayed by Samantha. However, Samantha instilled confidence in her and supported her throughout the making of Baby John.
Baby John is an official remake of Kollywood star Vijay’s Theri. The Hindi version is directed by Khalees and produced by Atlee along with Murad Khetani and Jyoti Deshpande. Jackie Shroff and Wamiqa Gabbi played crucial roles in the movie.
