Karthi urges makers of Tamil Cinema to break barriers and dare to dream

Star hero Karthi made a strong statement at the event of his new film Annagaru Vasthunnaru, stressing the need for fresh ideas in Tamil cinema.

Speaking about the changing trends in the South, he said, “I always think that Telugu makers are doing big films, and Malayalam makers are doing different films. What’s the identity of Tamil films?”

Karthi added that the industry cannot evolve if filmmakers hesitate to try new things. “We can’t do new things if we are scared to try. We need to break the barriers,” he said.

His comments have sparked discussions among fans and filmmakers, increasing curiosity around his upcoming film and its unique approach.
