Actor-filmmaker Lakshmi Manchu has been missing in action in Tollywood for the past few years. She was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s Yakshini (2024) and Netflix’s Pitta Kathalu (2021). The Manchu lady has made Mumbai her home since last year and is rarely seen in Tollywood circles of late.
Lakshmi Manchu surprised everyone by starring in the trailer for hotshot Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar’s upcoming reality show, The Traitors. The show’s trailer was dropped yesterday, and Lakshmi was seen alongside several popular Bollywood celebrities in a game of survival. Set in Rajasthan’s Suryagarh Palace, The Traitors will be hosted by Karan Johar, and it will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from June 12.
Along with Lakshmi, the Traitors also features Purav Jha, Karan Kundrra, Harsh Gujral, Ashish G Vidyarthi, Apoorva aka Rebel Kid, Uorfi Javed, Jasmine Bhasin, Raftaar, Elnaaz Norouzi, Nikita Luther, Anshula Kapoor, Raj Kundra, Janvi Gaur, Maheep Kapoor, Jannat Zubair, Mukesh Chhabra, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sahil Salathia, and Sufi Motiwala. Lakshmi Manchu will make her way into Bollywood if The Traitors works its magic on the OTT giant this June.
