Kantara Chapter 1: OTT & satellite partners revealed

Rishab Shetty’s PAN-Indian action drama Kantara: Chapter 1 has hit the screens today amidst massive expectations. The initial reports are encouraging, and as a result, the bookings witnessed a huge upsurge with nearly 80K tickets being sold every hour on BookMyShow.

The latest update reveals that Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of this biggie. The film’s satellite rights were acquired by Zee Network, and the same was displayed in the opening credits. Kantara: Chapter 1 is said to have fetched massive revenue from its non-theatrical deals.

Rukmini Vasanth played the leading lady, while Gulshan Devaiah portrayed the antagonist. Jayaram was seen in a supporting role. Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films bankrolled this folklore film on a grand scale, while Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music.
