Mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy’s son Kireeti Reddy is set to make his acting debut with the soon-to-release youthful entertainer, Junior. Also starring the young sensation Sreeleela in a lead role, the film is scheduled for release on July 18. Eega producer Sai Korrapati produced the movie on a huge scale, while Radha Krishna directed it.
Junior is a Kannada-Telugu bilingual film. The Kannada version’s pre-release event was held in Bengaluru on Sunday evening, with Sandalwood superstar Shiva Rajkumar gracing it as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, Shiva Rajkumar said he has known Kireeti Reddy since his childhood. “I have seen Junior’s teaser and songs. Kireeti performed and danced wonderfully. The film industry is all set to welcome a promising talent in Kireeti with Junior,” said the Kannada stalwart.
Shiva Rajkumar also had some nice things to say about the film’s leading lady, Sreeleela, and actress Genelia. “Sreeleela is a phenomenal dancer. Her chemistry with Kireeti is so good in the movie,” he added. Genelia is a good human being. She has portrayed a good character in the movie,” said the Peddi actor.
“I have shared a close bond with Ravichandran Anna for a long time. His character in the movie will stand out. Director Radha Krishna has helmed the project like a veteran. Devi Sri Prasad is the music superstar. My best wishes to Kireeti, Sreeleela, and the entire team of Junior,” Shiva Rajkumar concluded.
