Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has now scored his second industry hit in 2023. His latest flick Jawan emerged as the all-time biggest earner in Hindi cinema. The partial holiday on Wednesday helped the film achieve good growth. The Hindi version nett total now stands at 525.5 crores.
Shah Rukh Khan introduced the 500 crore club to Bollywood with Pathaan and now with Jawan, he scripted history once again. What’s more interesting here is that Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 crossed the lifetime numbers of Pathaan yesterday and stood as an industry hit just for one day.
Jawan is yet to slow down at the box office and is looking to score big in this extended weekend. The action drama directed by Atlee has already zoomed past the 1000 crores gross mark. The trade pundits predict that Jawan would end somewhere between 560-570 crores in its full run. Up next, the potential films that can break Jawan records in Bollywood are Tiger 3 and Dunki.
