It looks like National Award-winning actor Dhanush is in no mood to take a break from direction. The talented actor-filmmaker, who recently wrapped up the shoot of his second directorial, tentatively titled DD2, yesterday announced his third directorial project, DD3.
DD3 is titled Nilavukku Emel Enadi Kobam and a breezy and light-hearted motion poster was also unveiled along with the title announcement. And here’s an interesting tidbit about the movie. Back in 2016, Dhanush’s ex-sister-in-law and Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth had announced a film titled ‘Nilavukku Emel Enadi Kobam’. While Soundarya was supposed to direct the movie, Dhanush was penning the story. However, the film never went on floors for reasons unknown.
Nilavukku Emel Enadi Kobam features an all-young cast, with Mathew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendran, Rabiya Khatoon, Pavish V, Ramya Ranganathan, and Venkatesh Menon playing lead roles. Dhanush himself is bankrolling the project, while GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music.
