Earlier, it was reported that Amazon Prime Video had acquired the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger.
But the latest developments are implying that Liger’s post theatrical OTT streaming rights have been acquired by Disney+ Hotstar for a whopping amount of money.
Apparently, Disney+ Hotstar paid a whopping Rs 65 crores for the OTT rights of Liger. This is one of the biggest OTT deals in South Indian cinema.
Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and it has Ananya Panday in the female lead role. The film is up for theatrical release on the 25th of August this year.
