Music lovers in Chennai are in for a musical treat as Maestro Ilayaraja will pay his musical tribute to the late legendary music composer MS Viswanathan with a small orchestra. In his tribute, Ilayaraja will perform a few superhit compositions of MS Viswanathan to the music aficionados.
Speaking about his tribute plans, Ilayaraja said, “Viswanathan’s musical skills and command are well known. None other than me is aware of the finer nuances of his music and my musical tribute will highlight his legacy.” Ilayaraja, who met MSV in his final moments at the hospital, also said, “MSV may have died, but his legend lives on.”
The Jeeva-Ilayaraja Educational Trust will be organizing this musical night on 27th July.
