Anushka Shetty, who is all set to return to the big screen with Ghaati, has shared her excitement about the film on ‘X’ and left fans thrilled.
The actress revealed that she went completely blank after hearing the script for the first time, as it left a deep impact on her. “I was silent and did not even say yes or no to Krish, which left him in a puzzle,” says Anushka.
Ghaati is touted to be an intense drama that blends strong emotions with a gripping narrative. Anushka further added that she instantly felt connected to the character of Sheelavati and knew she had to take up the role no matter what.
The film is slated for release on September 5, 2025, and also has Vikram Prabhu, Jagapathi Babu, and Chaitanya Rao in key roles.
