Days after publicly denying his involvement in the recently unearthed drug scandal in Hyderabad, actor Navdeep today attended an interrogation session by the Narcotics sleuths in Madhapur. Navdeep has been booked as A29 in the sensational case that has rocked Tollywood once again.
Soon after the Hyderabad Police named Navdeep as one of the accused and absconding, the High Court in Hyderabad had rejected the actor’s plea for anticipatory bail and directed him to co-operate with the cops. The anti-narcotics officials believe that Navdeep has close ties with the notorious drug peddler Ram Chander and that Navdeep had transferred drugs to several Telugu film stars.
The interrogation is still underway, and we will have to wait until evening for further updates. Earlier this week, Navdeep took to X and tweeted that he is not the Navdeep named in the drug scandal by the cops. Stay tuned for more details.
