Popular comedian turned hero Sapthagiri will next be seen in a lead role in the soon-to-release comedy entertainer, Pelli Kaani Prasad. The makers unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer today. Priyanka Sharma is the film’s leading lady.
The trailer offers a few glimpses of the world of Prasad, a 36-year-old bachelor, who becomes increasingly anxious about marriage and fears that any further delay could lead to him remaining unmarried forever. On the other hand, the heroine’s family is on the lookout for a groom who can not only support his wife but also provide for her entire family, with the promise of a future abroad. Will destiny bring them together?
Sapthagiri is back in his element with his hilarious antics in the role of Pelli Kaani Prasad. Priyanka Sharma as the leading lady has a meaty role with a scope to perform. Directed by Abhilash Reddy Gopidi, Pelli Kaani Prasad is produced by K.Y. Babu of Vision Group, alongside Bhanu Prakash Goud, Sukka Venkateshwar Goud, and Vybhav Reddy Mutyala under the Thama Media Entertainments banner. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas on March 21.
