Pawan Kalyan’s first PAN-Indian film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, has almost completed its theatrical run. The distributors are staring at huge losses. The prestigious project was directed by Jyothi Krishna, the son of AM Rathnam. The film mostly received negative reviews from critics. Especially the second half and the VFX drew significant flak.
Jyothi Krishna recently participated in an interview where he made some surprising remarks about reviewers. He said, “Review writers and YouTubers are paying attention to individual blocks, but they are not looking at the film in its totality. They need to understand what the film is trying to convey. I believe that those who gave negative reviews lack maturity and need to grow up.”
Jyothi Krishna added, “We put our heart and soul into making the film appeal to audiences across languages. Review writers need to be careful while drafting their reviews because their opinions matter a lot. People believe in them.” He also emphasized the need for encouragement when something new is attempted.
“We tried something different by including a cliffhanger instead of a routine mass fight. Negative comments demoralize us. We can’t move forward if we don’t encourage uniqueness. Those who watched Hari Hara Veera Mallu from the second day appreciated both the cliffhanger and the film,” remarked the Rules Ranjann director.
