For the past couple of days, the tinsel town has been abuzz with speculations that hero Balakrishna has given his nod to the story narrated to him by mass action entertainers specialist Harish Shankar. This crazy project is rumored to be bankrolled by reputed Sandalwood production house KVN Productions, the banner that’s currently producing Vijay’s Jana Nayagan and Yash’s Toxic.
As per the latest buzz, Harish Shankar, who is known to mostly direct remakes, has changed his ways for Balayya’s movie. Apparently, Harish Shankar has penned an original story and impressed Balayya with his narration. Incidentally, Harish’s last two movies, Mr. Bachchan and Gaddalakonda Ganesh, were remakes, and they failed to set the box office on fire. This seems to have prompted the director to stick to his own strengths and pen an original story for Balakrishna.
Balakrishna, who scored a decent hit with Daaku Maharaaj this Sankranthi season, is currently working on Boyapati Sreenu’s Akhanda 2. The senior hero also has a project with Gopichand Malineni in the pipeline. Stay tuned for the official announcement on the Balayya-Harish Shankar project.
