Actor Gopichand’s new movie was launched with a formal pooja ceremony earlier today. The as-yet-untitled film marks Gopichand’s 33rd project. Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy will direct the movie, while Srinivasa Chitturi, the producer who bankrolled Gopichand’s Seetimaar, will bankroll it under his Srinivasa Silver Screen banner.
As per the latest updates, the Gopichand-Sankalp Reddy movie will have an exciting backdrop that’s rarely explored in Indian cinema. The film is touted as a historical drama set in the 7th century. Sankalp, who has explored Water (Ghazi), Space (Anthariksham), and Sky (IB 71), among the five elements, has penned a unique story set against the backdrop of the fire element for the Gopichand-starrer.
