Yesterday we reported that the Telugu movie Kaantha, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Bhagyashri Borse, held its pooja ceremony, with Venkatesh clapping the first shot for the lead pair.
Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, this multilingual film has begun its shooting. The story, set in 1950s Madras, resonates with contemporary emotions. Samuthirakani is also part of the cast.
Swapna Dutt, Rana Daggubati, and Dulquer Salmaan are producing the movie on a grand scale Spirit Media, Swapna Cinema, and Wayfarer Films, respectively. Dani Sanchez-Lopez, known to Telugu audiences for his work in Mahanati and Virata Parvam, is handling the cinematography. More details about this major project will be announced soon.
