Star heroine Anushka is all set to return to the silver screens with the upcoming crime drama, Ghaati. The Krish directorial is being made as a pan-India film, and it is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on April 18. A major portion of the film was shot on the Andhra-Odisha border.
As per the latest buzz, Ghaati makers are planning to release two theatrical trailers ahead of the film’s release. While one trailer is expected to be released sometime in March, the second trailer will be unveiled a few days before the film’s release. However, an official confirmation in this regard is awaited.
Anushka will be seen as a ganja peddler in Ghaati. The intense teaser that was unveiled in November gave a glimpse of the gritty and crime-ridden world the film is set in. Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu essays a crucial role in the film. UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments banners jointly bankrolled Ghaati.
