The shooting for Tamil star Karthi’s new film, Sultan was wrapped up a few weeks ago. The film also marks the Tamil debut of happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna.
Meanwhile, a few days back, news came out that the film’s makers are planning to release the film in the theatres during the Pongal season. Now, the latest buzz circulating in Tamil media circles is that noted OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar has approached Sultan’s team to acquire the film’s streaming rights.
If the news turns into reality eventually, we have to see how fans of Karthi will react to it.
