Tamil hero Dhanush’s eagerly awaited project, Vada Chennai, is gearing up for an October 17th release as a Dasara festive treat. Now, the latest update is that the film has cleared the censor scrutiny this evening with A certificate by the CBFC.

Sources reveal that due to the raw and intense action scenes, the board has issued an A certificate for the film. Expectations on this movie are humongous as Dhanush joined hands with his Aadukalam director Vetrimaran once again. Aishwarya Rajesh is the film’s leading lady, while Andrea plays a crucial role.

Kaala fame Santosh Narayanan is the film’s music composer. Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films has bankrolled the movie in association with Vetrimaran’s Grass Root Film Company. Lyca Productions will release the movie.
